In January of 2011 we embarked on a difficult challenge of reducing the lead-time for our Emold program by 11%. This required us to cut 2 full days out of our manufacturing process. The result was the reduction from 19 days to 17 days the time necessary to produce a mold.

Looking back at 2011, we are happy to report that we were successful in producing Emolds in 17 day and did so every week throughout the year. Our quickest molds were manufactured in 12 days.

For 2012, we will maintain 17 day Emolds. However, we will concentrate on delivering a significant portion of them in less than 17 days. Our drive to continual improvement has helped us systematically become faster each and every year.
